At BHT India, our Floor Gantry Cranes—also known as Goliath or Portal Cranes—are built to handle heavy loads efficiently in both indoor and outdoor environments. These cranes are self-standing and do not require support from existing building columns, making them perfect for open yards, warehouses, or structures with weak foundations.
With lifting capacities ranging from 1 ton to 150 tons, they offer a wide range of applications. We also provide semi-gantry configurations for areas where the building structure is available on only one side.
Robust and Smart Design
Each crane is designed keeping wind loads and site-specific challenges in mind, following IS:800 or relevant global standards. These cranes support all three directional movements—hoisting, cross travel, and long travel—ensuring full area coverage. For added utility, cantilever arms can be provided on one or both sides, allowing the trolley to move beyond the main rails, ideal for loading and unloading outside the rail span.
The modular construction allows easy assembly and dismantling, especially useful in temporary work zones like construction sites or remote industrial setups.
